Hilary Duff Wants to Guest Star on 'The Office' and '30 Rock'

Following NBC's announcement about the network's deal with Hilary Duff, the 21 years old singer finally gives her statement about her return to television series. To MTV News, the "Lizzie McGuire" alum mentions "The Office" and "30 Rock" as some of the NBC's series that she wants to join in.

Duff says in a statement, "I would love to do something on 'The Office'". She further adds, "'30 Rock' is great, very funny. Many people have done lots of guest spots on it this season." Duff also shares what she wants to do for her upcoming appearance on TV, saying "I get to call the shots, I would like to do something funny or I would like to kick ass or something."

On November 14, the co-chairman of NBC's Entertainment/Universal Media Studios, Ben Silverman, has announced Duff's future contribution for the network's yet-to-be-titled new sitcom and some current shows. In the meantime, there are no further confirmation by NBC regarding the names of series that Duff will appear.

Hilary Duff Takes On Total Finale Live

Backstage at MTV’s TRL Total Finale Live, Hilary talked about “Reach Out,” featured on her her greatest-hits LP, Best of Hilary Duff. “Reach Out” is a sample of a Depeche Mode song, ‘Personal Jesus.

“It’s different for me. It’s a little dancey, and there’s a rapper named Prophet who’s on it who’s really cool and kinda fresh,” the 21-year-old singer/actress told MTV.

Last week, it was announced that Hilary signed a development deal for a TV series on NBC.

Hilary Duff’s ‘Reach Out’ Gets Censored

Hilary Duff's Boyfriend Aims to Please

Hilary Duff seems to have found the perfect boyfriend in Mike Comrie: athletic, dedicated to charity and romantic!

At an event for Blessings in a Backpack on Oct. 24 at P.S. 15, Roberto Clemente Elementary School, Hilary spoke openly about how excited she is to have found someone to share her passion for charity with.

"I am so thankful for that day that I met him and all the people we've gotten to feed together," she says of working with Mike on the charity, which distributes food to needy kids before they go home for the weekend.

Not only does Mike, a hockey player for the New York Islanders, share her love of helping others, he's also got a way with words when it comes to the Duffster.

"He does special things all the time and surprises me," she tells OK!. "On my birthday, there was a very small group of us, and he got up and read a poem. It was like a funny poem, it wasn’t like super serious. It was so cute!"
